The Family Center of Temple Terrace was founded in 1991 and has been family ran ever since. We provide therapeutic treatment services to individuals and families suffering from addiction or impulse control issues, anxiety, depression, co-dependency, and issues with reintegration or societal reentry. Our services are provided in an individual and group setting depending on the person's need.

Melissa Powell:

Melissa holds her Master's Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida with an Addiction's Certificate. She is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida; she is a certified Addiction's Professional. Her undergraduate degree is in criminology and her passion is to work with under-served individuals such as the criminal justice population.
